"PENUMBRA" 2021, paint on concrete
My concept for the public art project PENUMBRA explores the interplay between mobility and natural structures. The mural connects the dynamic movement patterns of people with the organic forms found in nature. The design of the underpass is based on the fusion of nature photography, captured both in macro perspective and from a bird's-eye view. These viewpoints highlight the dynamics and complexity of movement and structure. Aesthetically, the mural draws inspiration from the stencil techniques of street art culture, giving the work an urban touch. At the same time, it reflects the organic vitality of nature, blending seamlessly into its surroundings.
